G Country has been established in 2007 by Indigenous entrepreneurs Andrew Hegedus and Robin Bryant with the support of Sydney businessman, Ian Plater, to promote Indigenous products. The inspiration for the business has been the desire to establish a retail outlet for the quality ceramics produced by Andrew Hegedus’ business, Girrwaawa Ceramics (now trading as G Ceramics). G Country will source quality products from Indigenous artists and manufacturers from throughout Australia for sale through our retail and on-line outlet. Our aim is to promote the excellence of Australian Indigenous products and enable artists to greatly broaden their sales opportunities using G Country support and expertise.

G Country specialises in supplying authentic Indigenous art, home and giftware products. G Country is proud to present products that showcase the talents of Indigenous artists and manufacturers from throughout Australia. As an Australian Indigenous owned enterprise, G Country sells Indigenous products which are unique, high quality and authentic. Local ceramic designers/artists include Deborah Taylor, Djarainj, Elizabeth Hegedus and Leanne Hegedus.

G Country has established its initial retail outlet, G Country Art Gallery and Emporium at 9 Coldstream St, Ulmarra NSW 2462. Our premises are located in the picturesque and historic river town of Ulmarra, 12 kilometres north of Grafton NSW on the Pacific Highway to Brisbane. When you visit our showroom take the opportunity to see artists at work at G Ceramics next door and then relax in our garden settings.

G Ceramics is located at 11 Coldstream St Ulmarra. G Ceramics manufactures in Grafton, Regional Australia, quality Indigenous hand painted ceramic gift and home ware products for wholesale distribution to national suppliers. The usable ceramic products are painted with authentic Indigenous contemporary designs. These products are for sale next door at G Country Art Gallery & Emporium.
